My Learning Site

Today, we started learning about Garderner’s Multiple Intelligence Theory which describes the different ways we learn and acquire information. We did a survey to see what our strongest learning styles might be.

I found that I am strong in Musical, Verbal linguistic and Social intelligence. My lowest is Naturalist. We will be using this information in our learning, this term.

Being on Time

This week’s value is being on time. I think this is important because that is how other people won’t get annoyed.

On a scale of 1-5, I would rate myself as a 3 because I see myself as a pretty quick person!

Life Education

Kia Ora, yesterday I went to Life Education

and my class learned about the human brain!

At the start, we just played with a little puzzle. It was a brain!

We learned about all the parts of the brain!

Like the spinal cord attaches to your spine so u have good reflexes I think?

I think it’s either the cerebellum or the occipital lobe that gives you sight and all of that.

But that’s all I remember.

I wonder why the frontal lobe is not the reason you can see?!

The brain is divided into two halves, called hemispheres. That is a cool fact!
