- Lisa Carrington is 35 years old. She was born on 23 June 1989.
- Carrington was named as New Zealand’s senior Māori sportswoman and overall Māori sportsperson of the year in November 2012.
- Lisa Carrington won 3 gold medals in the Olympics this year in Sprint kayak AKA a type of canoe sprint held on calm water.
